The property includes a license to operate slot machines, poker and electronic casino games in Miami. PCI, owned by the Alabama-based Poarch Band of Creek Indians, purchased the property from the Havenick family, which has owned the site since the 1950s. PCI Gaming, doing business as Wind Creek Hospitality, will acquire Miami-based Magic City Casino in a multimillion-dollar deal. The tribal chair and CEO of Wind Creek parent Poarch Band of Creek Indians said she is excited to grow in another major metro area. |
